Last week, Jenny Luca and I invited teachers and students from across the globe to join Working Together 2 Make a Difference, an online community where all of us can collaborate about our local efforts to serve different worthy causes. As our membership continues to grow, Laura and I wanted to provide a little incentive to those who post about their projects first! If you’ve joined us there already, please consider building out your pages with descriptions of your classroom service projects within the next week. If you haven’t joined us yet, please consider doing so!
Laura and I intend to donate 20 minutes of service each in support of our local foodbank for every member who completes their page and begins sharing the charitable work that they are doing with students in schools between now and October 25th. We’ll be spending November following through with and blogging about this commitment. Jenny, Laura, and I are looking forward to seeing what everyone will accomplish!
